Elephant Toothpaste

I found a video that told me how to make Elephant toothpaste. It said, 20% hydrogen peroxide, dish soap, food coloring, potassium iodide but we used 10% hydrogen peroxide, and
we dident have the potassium iodide so we used yeast this is how it turned out.

        Before                                                                                                                         After                                                                         My recipe

The experiment dident work it dident foam up like the video. Next time we will get 20% hydrogen peroxide, and we will get potassium iodide.

  2. Hi Eartha, what fun making Elephant Toothpaste! I remember making that last year for the first time. It looked like the mixture did foam up, just not enough. I like the way you added the photos and the diagram. I don't remember using potassium iodide when we made it. I will try and find the recipe I used and email it to you.
